A research group belonging to the Department of Mechanics, Mathematics, and Management at the Polytechnic University of Bari.
MetisQ is actively working on topics related to the modeling of innovative technologies for quality energy systems.
We use computational fluid dynamics applied to nanofluids, multiphase heat transfer, and pollutant diffusion.
The forthcoming research topics will involve nuclear energy passive cooling system.
The group received external research funding from programs such as Future in Research (FIRB), MIT International Science & Technology Initiatives (MISTI), and High Performance Computing (HPC-SARA).
